Metabolix launches biobased PVC additive

Metabolix (Cambridge, MA) has launched a biobased polymeric performance additive for recycled polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The I6003rp-branded additive was developed based on data confirming that specific Metabolix grades of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) have superb miscibility with PVC and enhance the processing and properties of recycled PVC.
